WHY OUR PRAYERS REMAIN UNANSWERED

Relationship- John 15:7, we need to remain in Jesus if we are to receive.

Motives- in everything, we need to glorify God. If our motives in the things we want are not there to glorify Him then we miss it-James 4:3, Psalms 139:1-4

Faith- we grab everything by faith just as with our salvation. James 1:6, Heb. 11:1

God's time and will- we need to be in His timetable and not our own time- 2 pet.3:8, . We also need to be in His perfect will-Acts 15:36, 16:6-10

Sin/unforgiving spirit- Isaiah 59:1-3, sin prevents our prayers from reaching the throne of God. Prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective. Mark 11:24-25, the unforgiving spirit also hinders our breakthrough. We need to forgive because He also forgave us.
